# Sandooq MCP server
A read-only endpoint that answers questions about Sandooq — plans, prices, per-market tax and currency facts, and this site's own pages — from inside an AI assistant.
- Model Context Protocol
## What it is
- The server runs over the Model Context Protocol, an open standard that lets an AI assistant call tools hosted by another service. Point your assistant at the endpoint and it can answer pricing, country and product questions using the same numbers and the same wording this website publishes.
- It is public and read-only. There is no sign-in, no API key and no account to create, and the server holds no customer data — it serves product information only. Every tool reads the same source this website renders, so an assistant cannot quote a figure the site does not show.
## What it can answer
- Sandooq's subscription plans, prices and per-plan limits, read from the same source the pricing page renders.
- What Sandooq publishes about one MENA market: VAT rate, e-invoicing posture, currency, how tenders are handled, the regulator, and the market notes shown on that country's page.
- Search Sandooq's public pages and blog articles by keyword, returning ranked titles, URLs and excerpts. Follow a result with get_page to read it in full.
- One Sandooq page as Markdown — the same representation the site serves at /agent and via Accept: text/markdown, with no HTML or navigation chrome.
## Connect it
You need the endpoint URL. Any client that speaks MCP over HTTP will accept it.
### Claude Code
- Run this once in a terminal. The server is then available in that project; add --scope user to make it available everywhere.
### Claude Desktop
- Open Settings, go to Developer, choose Edit Config, and add this to claude_desktop_config.json. Restart Claude Desktop afterwards.
### ChatGPT
- Turn on Developer Mode in ChatGPT settings, choose Apps and connectors, then add a new connector using the same URL. ChatGPT asks you to confirm the connection the first time you use it.
### Cursor
- Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json and restart Cursor.
## Machine-readable details
- A discovery card describes the endpoint, its transport, and every tool it serves, for clients and directory scanners that look for it automatically.
- Our llms.txt file is a compact index of this site for assistants, listing the pages, pricing, market pages and articles below.
- Any page on this site is also available as Markdown: append .md to the URL, or send Accept: text/markdown.
